new hilarious family comedy GO WEST, featuring the original cast of Studio C, opened exclusively

“For years we’ve been wanting to do a special project for our fan base, so releasing a comedic
Oregon Trail movie around Pioneer Day just feels right,” explained Stephen Meek, director of
GO WEST. “We’ve tested GO WEST with several audiences to make sure there is non-stop,
family friendly comedy, throughout the film and we’re feeling incredibly positive about how
much people are laughing. We can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
Combine a crazy cast of characters and a long, arduous journey filled with harsh elements and
dangerous dangers, and you get GO WEST. Starring Sean Astin (LORD OF THE RINGS) as the
Narrator and featuring the original cast of Studio C as both the writers and stars, GO WEST tells
the story of two sisters forging through the dangerous Oregon Trail, meeting lots of hilarious
characters and crazy obstacles along the way.
GO WEST is distributed by Purdie Distribution. “I’m thrilled to be working with Adam and
